Rouchon furniture is traditional hand made gorgeous French furniture. At Harvest Moon we are Rouchon stockists and offer all the pieces in the current Rouchon furniture ranges.

All pieces are crafted in France by time served craftsmen. Rouchon is a 3rd generation family run French furniture business in Sarlat, Périgord, established over 100 years ago, that takes its inspiration from the great French cabinet makers.

All Rouchon furniture pieces are hand made in France using traditional cabinet making techniques and are hand painted then waxed to give a beautiful lustruous glossy finish. Only the finest woods are used including solid walnut, oak and cherry. Some of the painted pieces are available in a variety of different colour finishes, just ask!

Like our other REAL furniture makers this is top of the range traditional French furniture at its best with some modern influences, and as such comes with a price tag to match!

The Rouchon bedroom, dining, living room and occasional furniture (including home office / study furniture) collections are the Esprit de Chateau and Louis XV.

The image above shows one of our favourite Rouchon pieces - the Rouchon Baldaquin Louis XVI style 4 poster bed is from the Esprit de Chateau. A true statement piece if ever there was one.

The image below shows the Rouchon Esprit de Chateau (Baldaquin) Louis XVI style 4 poster canopy bed along with an upholstered bedroom chair and a walnut lamp table.

The 4 poster has a cane headboard, as can be seen in the image below, and is available as a single, double, king size or super king size 4 poster bed.

The Rouchon Esprit de Chateau bedroom furniture collection also includes other beds, chests of drawers, upholstered bedroom benches and chairs and bedside tables including the Louis XV walnut and oak bedside table shown in the image below. Bedside price £1270.

The Rouchon Esprit de Chateau dining furniture collection includes dressers, sideboards, round and rectangular dining tables, dining chairs and display cabinets all handcrafted by time served craftsmen. The image below shows a Rouchon Esprit de Chateau oak Louis XVI open top dresser with a 2 door sideboard base, price from £4800.

The Rouchon Esprit de Chateau oak 2 door hunting sideboard can be seen below with an aged black painted finish and like all the other pieces is available in different paint colours and finish effects for a different style be it classic, sleek contemporary or a contemporary shabby chic weathered look. The Rouchon 2 drawer chest is equally ideal as a bedroom chest, hallway chest for hats, gloves and scarves, for dining room cutlery, table cloths etc. or a living room chest of drawers.

The Rouchon living room and occasional furniture includes a wide range of occasional tables, as well as console tables, Rouchon also offer coffee tables, lamp tables, side tables, bureau style desk, seating, chests, display cabinet and bookcases.

Rouchon offer a wide range of large library bookcases and standard sized bookcases for furnishing your library, study or home office.

There are both open and glazed bookcases to choose from in a variety of standard sizes and designs and we have simply selected a couple of designs to show you here to give you a flavour of what is available.

The image below shows the Rouchon Esprit de Chateau C900 walnut and oak large library bookcase with an unpainted finish. This particular model is a mix of beautiful hand carved and crafted traditional style based on antique designs coupled with modern metal shelf supports. The C900 large library bookcase is HUGE - 213cm wide by 210cm high, depth of 46cm.

Like all the other Rouchon pieces this large library bookcase can be hand painted in a colour of your own choice and can be seen below with blue shelving and interior for a very different look. Prices from £4400.
